Image AlgorithmsTool Introduction

Demosaic reconstructs full-color RGB from Bayer RAW images. Each sensor pixel captures only one color channel (R/G/B); bilinear interpolation fills the two missing channels from neighboring same-color pixels. Supports RGGB/BGGR/GRBG/GBRG Bayer patterns.

Key Formula / Principle

R sample: G = avg(4 orthogonal G neighbors), B = avg(4 diagonal B neighbors)
G sample: R/B = avg(2 orthogonal neighbors), other = avg(2 orthogonal neighbors)
B sample: symmetric to R sample
