Image AlgorithmsTool Introduction

Prewitt operator uses 3x3 uniform-weighted kernels for gradients (lighter center weight than Sobel), Roberts operator uses 2x2 cross-difference (sensitive to diagonal edges, noise-prone). Supports x/y/magnitude direction and threshold filtering.

Prewitt: Gx = [[-1,0,1],[-1,0,1],[-1,0,1]] * I
Roberts: Gx = [[1,0],[0,-1]] * I, Gy = [[0,1],[-1,0]] * I
mag = √(Gx² + Gy²)
